One Year Later

Steve and I can now officially say that we have been married a whole year! So much has happened. When I look back at how things were a year ago it amazes me at how much can change. Our relationship has grown so much and as the weeks go by I learn so much more!

This reminds me of New Years. I feel like im almost making resolutions for what I want to accomplish by our 2 year. So funny. We are still hoping to move to Kaysville here in the next little while. If everything ends up working out we should be in there soon. Hopefully it will be whats best for us because we are wanting to move closer to work and school.

We love our first home. I will remember it forever! All of the little things we complain about everyday have just made us more humble. I know we will look back and miss it.

waking up

I think my favorite part of the day is waking up in the morning. I love opening my eyes and being able to see steve laying next to me. I feel like my day just starts off better when we wake up together.

Summer is finally here and we are getting some extra hours at work. Which is great, more money! But hard when we cant see each other. Fathers day is tomorrow and we are excited to celebrate out fathers with our families. I am so grateful for my dad. He has been there for me my entire life and I dont know what I would do without him.
My first memories of my dad are when he pretended to be Mufasa from lion king. He would growl at us while we screamed our heads off cause he would tickle us to death. He would always pretend to be some bear or monster at our house at night. Whenever any of us would hear a noise we would hide under our blankets and listen so carefully until he would rip the blanket off and scare us! My brothers and I loved it so much.
Im grateful for my father in law because he raised such a wonderful man. My husband. I love seeing him wrestle with his grandchildren because it reminds me of how my dad did that growing up. He reminds me of so many people in my family and its been fun getting to know him.
Mine and Steves one year is almost a week away and I cant believe it! I went through the temple on the 18th of june last year for the first time with steve, then a week later to be married. I loved my wedding day. It was the best day of my life, other than the day I met steve.
