Halloween!

Mario and Princess Peach!!

Halloween was great! We were able to attend our friends party and then play laser tag! Who knew playing in your costumes could be so much fun! We had a great time. Steve and I were able to go to the Temple yesturday and it was wonderful being back again!

 I felt myself getting so emotional when we were almost there, remembering how excited I was to get married! A few more weeks and we'll have been married for 5 months! How incredible is that!

2 Sundays ago We finally got a calling! Weve been waiting and waiting and the day finally arrived! Primary it is! We should find out the remaining details on sunday. Steve and I are really excited.

As you may have noticed, we have an addition to our car! A cute little orange bear in our front window. Steve won him in a crane game. Im very proud so we intend to show it off!

rain rain go away

So its officially not summer anymore! Who knew it would've gone by so fast. Its already almost Halloween! Steve and I finally figured out what were going to dress up as! Were both really excited. The only thing were not happy with is the cold! Its going to take me a lot longer to get used to it snowing already this year! I had fun listening to Christmas songs in the car today! Im excited for Steve and I to spend our first Christmas together being married.

So many fun things!

 So much has happened since I last wrote. Steve and I celebrated our 3 month Last week! It was super exciting.

Steve and I enjoyed a homework assignment for one of his classes together a couple of nights ago. We put food coloring on his tongue and a sticker to measure how many taste buds were in the center of the sticker. I ended up making a mess and getting it all over my fingers and way to much in his mouth. We were both colored blue for awhile!

Last night We went with a couple of our friends to a Haunted House in Salt Lake! We had a great time. Afterwards we went to Sonic and Steve and I got hotdogs and a big green apple slushie! It was so fun.

One Year

Two days ago, on September 19th Steve and I were excited to say that we had met exactly one year ago. I cant believe it! I cant get over how its already almost October. Life is just moving so fast right now! Maybe our schedule's need to not be as busy so time doesn't move as quick. I don't want to be like my parents and soon be saying "it seems like just yesterday I was your age". No way! Things are just not supposed to move this fast.

Steve and I have had a busy last two weeks, with him taking tests and figuring out our opposite work schedules again. Were still always able to spend time together. Even when things are super crazy! And I'm so grateful for that.

We love our house so much!

Basketball

Steve and I both went to a Basketball Tournament for his work today! We had a lot of fun even tho we were there from 1 until about 7:30. Crazy! It was so much fun being able to watch him have a good time playing! We got Cold Stone ice cream afterwards and then went to Panda Express! Once we got home we watched the rest of the new movie we bought the other day. I love long days where were able to just spend time together! Its the best thing in the whole world.

Washing Machine error!

A couple weeks ago Steve and I came around the corner to find this mess of bubbles coming out of our washing machine! Such a big mess just to wash his work pants! We got a good laugh out of it.

Provo River

Steve and a couple of our friends and I had a lot of fun Saturday going down the Provo river! Besides the really bad sunburns and Steves leg getting really beat up, we had a great time!

2 Months

Steve and I have been married 2 whole months today! Seems like just yesterday I was writing that we've been married a month. Time is just flying by the busier we get! We've seen a lot of our good friends over the past few days and that was nice, being able to catch up. Its another late night for both of us tonight, and an early morning tomorrow of course!

No tire?

Steve and I spent our day today getting a yummy lunch and looking into getting a spare tire for our car, that apparently didn't come with one! Were pretty bummed about that. It turned out that we wont have to pay as much as we thought for one so that's exciting. One more week and Steve and I will be married for 2 whole months! I cant believe it hasn't even been two months. We've accomplished so much and have learned a bunch about each other these past couple weeks together. Im so excited for everything else we'll have the opportunity to learn.

Wedding Pictures

Steve and I got our wedding pictures today! From the Fabulous Jana.We are so happy with them and cant wait to hang some up in our home.
Living in a basement apartment has is benefits. You end up using the door at the top of your stairs as a mail shoot with the family above you! So much fun. Were so grateful to have such a wonderful family living above us!
Tonight was another work night for Steve and I. We both ended up working late, and will head home soon to watch another episode of Lost before we get some sleep!
 

 

Lost

Ive wanted a tv series that steve and I could get really into. And boy have we found it! We recently got netflix a week or two ago and we found out the other night it had all 6 seasons of Lost on it. Were having so much fun watching as many episodes that we can every night! They get so entertaining that its hard to stop! Our friends had been watching all the seasons together and catching up on the series for awhile. And now its mine and steves turn! Im so excited to be able to understand what all the fuss is about!

Darkness Falls

Yesterday Steve and I survived giving our talks in church, came home and watched a scary movie! We made nachos and surprisingly ate all the nacho cheese we bought for it!

I had brought home my parents printer the night before so that I would be able to print my talk in the morning. Little did I know...It wouldnt work! So less than an hour before church I had no talk. We pulled out my printer that I had, except it had no ink. Steve finally tried on his computer and was able to print my talk. It was a crazy morning for both of us.

A night without work

         Looks like tonight Steve is off by 5 and we have the whole rest of the day together! It will be so nice to not have to go to work right when he gets home. We've both been asked to give a talk this Sunday, and introduce ourselves to our new ward. So were going to finish that up today since we both work tomorrow night.
         Maybe this will give us a chance to meet some people in our ward, since we only know our Bishop and the family that lives above us! Im super excited to be getting our calling really soon. That'll be so much fun.

Another Late Night

Well, Its after midnight and Im super tired! its been a long day. Steve is working late and doesn't get home for another 2 hours. As I tried to get in the house tonight my key got stuck in the lock and my mom had to drive all the way back to help me get it out. I did not want to go to sleep and leave the key in there! That would not have been good. Hopefully Steves key doesn't get stuck when he comes in tonight!

Turns out we had a couple more problems with our internet today but with another connection and a new password, hopefully its all fixed for good.

Work work and more work!!

Its hard having such opposite scheduales. Steve works during the day while im in school and then once he gets off, its time for me to work the rest of the night! Im hoping my hours will be more during the day next week so we can see eachother more. My family is almost all moved out of there old house. They have to be out by the first so that the owners family can move back in. It'll be sad not being able to go back and visit! Steve and I have so many memories there.

Captain America

Its official! One month being married as of today! After some fun with family this morning we celebrated by going to see Captain America at the new theatre! We both really enjoyed it! The movie showed trailers for a new spiderman coming out and tons of other really cool movies we cant wait to see.

We just got back from grocery shopping and I swear it gets more and more expensive every time. But we both have to have our treats to snack on! Its a top priority. Its nice seeing our food closet and refrigerator get more full instead of being empty. Looks like its time to make dinner and sit down and see what Netflix has to offer! Will it be The Swan Princess again?

Newly Weds

Steve and I are just about all moved in to our new apartment
here in Layton. Today was actually a really exciting day for us!
We finally got our internet all worked out, which is great! We've
really missed having it. Tomorrow we'll have been married a month already!
